Service Description

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a type of bodywork that uses the healing power of gentle touch to help improve whole body health and enhance wellbeing. You remain clothed and lie on a treatment couch, generally on your back, supported with pillows and bolsters as required. The therapist places their hands lightly on your body, spine and head to assess the tissues, your craniosacral rhythm and general vitality, checking for restrictions, exploring parts that need attention and allowing areas to release where appropriate. People have found CST to be very helpful for issues with chronic pain, jaw pain, sinus issues, heaaches and migraines, digestive issues, recovery from illness, injury and surgery and helpful in managing long term health conditions and so much more. CST can help our bodies to be more relaxed and comfortable and our minds to be calmer and clearer. Most people find CST treatments to be an extremely restful and peaceful experience. You can feel safe enough to relax and let go. Sometimes emotions, images and sensations, stuck energy, buried memories etc that are held in the body come to the surface during treatment - this is called Somato-Emotional Release - this can be profoundly helpful for general healing of recurring or chronic issues, allow us better understanding of our selves and allow us to move on from things that have been holding us back in our health and in our lives.
